Dali's Exhibit in Museum of Art Fayetteville NC
I went to the exhibit yesterday and I was grossly impressed. It was quite refreshing to see Dali's work that was so different yet very similiar! 100 prints made from his watercolor illustrations for Dante's Divine Comedy were amazing and very influential on me and my friend Tina. We were impressed with spontenaity of his watercolors and decided to do our own project based on the same idea. Each one of us will create five artist's cards using watercolors illustrating one of fairy tales of our choice. This challenge should take about a week and hopefully let us revive our overthinking of artistic process which we learned in fine art education system... The pictures of finished work will be posted soon!
